Buildingglass is one of two kinds of safety glass regularly used in applications in which standard glass could pose a potential danger.Buildingglassmainly includes Tempered Glass, Laminated Glass, Insulated Glass, Low-E Glass etc.

Like the tempered glass, the brittle nature of tempered glass causes it to shatter into small ovalshaped pebbles when broken. This eliminates the danger of sharp edges. Due to this property, along with its strength, tempered glass is often referred to as safety glass.

Laminated glassis a type ofsafety glassthat holds together whenshattered. In the event of breaking, it is held in place by an interlayer, typically ofpolyvinyl butyral(PVB), between its two or more layers of glass. The interlayer keeps the layers of glass bonded even when broken, and its high strength prevents the glass from breaking up into large sharp pieces. This produces a characteristic "spider web" cracking pattern when the impact is not enough to completely pierce the glass.

Insulated glazing(IG), more commonly known asdouble glazingis double or tripleglasswindow panesseparated by a vacuum or other gas filled space to reduceheat transferacross a part of thebuilding envelope.

Float Glass

RIDER CLEAR FLOAT GLASS is made of molten glass which flows through tweel to tin bath and then to lehr.While floating through the molten tin, the glass under the works of gravity and surface tension becomes smooth and flat at both sides.Float glass is widely used in construction, decoration, furniture, optical instruments and automotive glass. It has various sizes and can be customized according to the specific needs, and Rider can help you to minimize the loss when cutting. The common thicknesses are 4mm - 10mm. The colors are clear, bronze, dark green, dark blue, lake blue, French green, mist grey, pink, etc. The sizes are 3300*2140, 3660*2140, 3300*2250, 3660*2250, 3300*2440, 3660*2440, 1650*2140, 1650*2250, 1650*2440, 1830*2140, 1830*2440mm.

Reflective Glass

1. Reflective Glass comes in many intriguing hues to complement the architect's designs. It is suitable for glass curtain wall and blends well with metal, concrete, tiles, granite and other building materials.
2. The mirror effect of reflective merges well with the surroundings and provides variations in appearance at different time of the day.

Tempered Glass

Rider's fully tempered glass offers customers the following safety characteristics:

• 4-5 times stronger than annealed glass of the same thickness.
• Stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or heat strengthened glass
• If breakage occurs the glass breaks up into small, cubical fragments, which are not threatening to humans.

Laminated Glass

• Two or more layers of clear float glass "sandwiched" together with a clear PVB interlayer, laminated glass is the one glass that reconciles the aesthetic benefits of glass with a genuine concern for safety; offering superior protection against glass breakage, as well as harmful solar rays and hazardous noise levels.
• Due to the adhesive properties of the PVB, Rider takes careful precautions to prevent unwanted particles from attaching to the PVB during the adhesion process.
