RIDER TEMPERED GLASS
Tempered glass is produced by heating annealed glass in a furnace to 620C° Progressing from the furnace, the glass is rapidly cooled with jets of cold air, inducing compressive stresses to the surface while the center remains tensile. The result is fully tempered glass 4-5 times stronger than annealed glass of equal thickness.

Tempered glass is also called toughened glass.Tempered glass has been processed intense heating and rapid cooling in a controlled process,Tempered glass will not break into sharp shards,but will instead break into small pieeces or fragments.These fragments of tempered glass also called cuboids,because of their shape,and will not cut or cause harm as easily as regular glass.

Features:
1. 5 times harder than ordinary float glass, stronger resistance to thermal breakage than annealed or heat strengthened glass.
2. Once breakage occurs, the glass disintegrates into small cubical fragments, which are relatively harmless to human body.
3. It withstands abrupt temperature change of 220 Centigrade.
4. Sizes are produced as per customer request. Once tempered, it can not be cut down.
